Over the past 10 years, North Carolina has become a hotspot for modern sustainable design on the East Coast (Dwell Homes, et al), but you’ll mostly find traditional cabin style and poorly crafted ranch homes in the Western Mountain ski-town/college-town of Boone, NC.

Objet design purchased four building lots within walking distance to Appalachain State University and the downtown strip of King Street, and in the future we’ll be design-build developing four of our modern, sustainable, and affordable single-family residences.

USDA, HUD, and Appalachian State University may be partnering on the project.
